Painting pregnancy... mother, baby and child...

celebrating  the feminine...

                       ...an honour and a privilege.

Returning home to New Zealand in 1993 from an inspirational and challenging 3 years in Europe, to my love Stewart Gunn we began our family living near the foothills of the Southern Alps in Canterbury. Once Lucy and Fergus were school aged, I returned to my art practice graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (University of Canterbury) in 2009 and furthered this with a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching; exhibiting in the same year at the Brooke Gifford Gallery along side Bill Hammond.

I will always be an artist. I am inspired in so many ways by the human experience. It feels especially rewarding to have a growing collection of my work held in private homes in New Zealand, England, France, Switzerland and the U.S.A.
